I have baby thin long hair (mid back) and was beginning to show signs of thinning, a lot of shedding and you could actually see my scalp top front of my head and in a early bolding pattern. I bought this product 18 November 2023, today is 3 January 2024 so after two months use taking the daily supplements and using the shampoo + conditioner. All the products are expensive but I made a minimum of a 3 months commitment. So far the pills have not been a problem to swallow, and the shampoo and conditioner are luxurious so you really don't need that much and I don't even feel the need to wash it as frequently.
I know new growth won't begin to show for another few months but for now I can honestly say I am not shedding the hand full of hair, my hair feels and looks fuller as family members have complimented me on and my crown thinning front area is not noticeable. I have only had this supplement for less than a week, the 45 and older version. I would caution those over 45 who are on any type of hormone replacement. Per my experience I have learned about Maca, that is in this version but not the 45 and younger. My hormone Dr recommended this as a good hair growth supplement, not realizing there was this version. I started having warm flushes, super oily skin, and anxiety/jittery feel on day 2, of a starting out, reduced dose. Started researching the ingredients and mace seems to be the issue. I called my Dr, and indeed, stop taking dt the maca. I have ordered the 45 and younger version, since this is supposed to be an effective supplement, hopefully it will be. But I thought to review for many of us over 45 on some form of hrt, who this may not be a good option for. I would have appreciated a warning about this on the label, would have saved me some unpleasant symptoms and extra money. I ended up at a dermatologist 4 weeks ago for my hair loss and was treated for female pattern baldness. To say the last, I was devastated.
